PROJECT IN BRIEF:

The Project is a compact cultural complex after the name of Ali Ahmed Chunka, the first Chairman of Narayanganj Municipality after liberation. The main design challenge was too many functions on a small piece of land. There is a 300 seated auditorium, a categorized library, an art gallery, a studio theatre, a local history gallery etc. There was an old but vibrant auditorium and library with the same name on the site and the design was accomplished specially to make it a cultural hub of the city and the expression was very contemporary in terms of architectural innovation.
